Our Head of Operations Sarah grew up in Suffolk. She was originally going to study English at university, but after a taster class exploring carving, casting, and 3D design, she pivoted towards jewellery. Sarah is fascinated by minute details, something especially apparent in her deep appreciation for the delicate craftsmanship and rich history of antique jewellery pieces in particular. She is currently obtaining her formal qualification in gemmology, as it allies both her love of nature and her keen eye for detail, and is enjoying learning about inclusions especially: how they were formed, and the stories they can tell us about the minerals they are present in.
